Mindspace Stamford is a local charity committed to improving the wellbeing of the people who live, work and learn in Stamford and the surrounding areas, helping people to flourish. They encourage conversations around positive wellbeing in their homes, businesses, and schools and offer a range of activities based on the 5 ways to wellbeing, that anyone can access (for free!) to encourage positive mental health and wellbeing. There are lots of free activities available including sound baths, meditation, mindfulness and yoga and also groups to listen and talk.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia Action UK is a charity that offers information and support to people with fibromyalgia. If you have any questions about fibromyalgia, call the charity's helpline on 0300 999 3333. Fibromyalgia Action UK also has a number of regional co-ordinators who can put you in touch with a support group near you.

Other organisations you may find useful include UK FibromyalgiaAction on PainFibromyalgia Friends Together and Fibromyalgia Support UK.

 

ME/CFS

ME Connect is a support and information service provided by the ME Association for people affected by ME/CFS/PVFS and Long COVID. They are there to listen and provide vital support in a safe environment.

Alternatively, there is Action for ME. Action for ME's friendly information and support service supports people with ME and their carers to address the challenges presented by the illness. They also help professionals who support people with ME. Additionally, Action for ME provides online forums, magazines and more for anyone aged 18 and under with ME.

The BACME website has a range of resources that can help with ME/CFS.
