An electrically operated lifting mechanism which, when fitted under the mattress, bends the mattress to lift the person from a lying to a sitting position and vice versa. Can be used to help to support laying down or sitting up in bed. It is useful if you are unable to sleep fully flat or need to be supported to sit up in bed.

• Weight restrictions apply.
• If buying this yourself, ensure it is compatible with your bed. You will need to be aware that this will bend the mattress, and sometimes a foot board on the bed is needed as the mattress may slide down the bed frame.
