Emergency planning for carers

Help to create an emergency plan for if you are unexpectedly unable to provide care, and how to get a carer’s emergency card.

Create an emergency response plan

The Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS) can help when you are unexpectedly unable to provide care for someone.

If an emergency occurs, we will contact the people you name on your plan. If we cannot get hold of them, we will find alternative services and make sure the person you look after is safe.

For further information about this service, visit emergency planning for carers or alternatively complete the request for support form.

If you would like to speak to someone about your caring role and discuss what support may be available to you, please call the Lincolnshire Carers Service on 01522 782224 or complete the online Request for Support form.

If you have any immediate concerns about safety, information and contact details can be found on the Lincolnshire County Council website.
