Lincolnshire Housing Related Support (HRS)
What is the Housing Related Support Service?
The Housing Related Support service (HRS) offers short term support for vulnerable adults who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, and have substance use and/or mental health concerns. The service helps people to deal with the issues that led to their current situation and develop skills to live independently. Support is offered in various locations, including hostels, people’s own homes and within the community.
The service offers two types of support:
- Floating support, which is delivered at home, over the phone, or in the community.
- Accommodation-based support, which is delivered in supported accommodation provided by the provider.
Accommodation-based support is specifically aimed at those presenting with an immediate need for HRS who without accommodation-based support are unlikely to find and maintain independent accommodation.
