Framework Housing Association

Framework Housing Association provide and lead the Lincolnshire Housing Related Support (HRS) Partnership across Lincolnshire in collaboration with NacroAmplius (formerly The Longhurst Group), and The Salvation Army

Its purpose is to provide short-term, tailored support which includes accommodation or floating support to vulnerable individuals aged 18 or over who have a substance use and/or a mental health issue who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or need help to maintain their housing

Support typically lasts for three to six months and aims to help people develop the skills for independent living by addressing issues like health, budgeting, and training.

How the service works

  • Partnership: The service is a county-wide initiative led by Framework who deliver their direct support in Lincoln, Spalding and Boston. Nacro deliver support in Grantham, Salvation Army deliver support in Skegness, and Amplius deliver support in Sleaford and Gainsborough. Support in all areas includes hostel and dispersed accommodation or floating support.
  • Support: Support is customised to individual needs and can be provided through floating support or accommodation-based support. The goal is to improve overall health and wellbeing and enable individuals to sustain their own tenancies.
  • Duration: Support is generally short-term, with the aim of helping individuals live independently within three to six months.
  • Referrals: Referrals to the service are made exclusively by district council housing teams. Other agencies can notify the local district council if they are aware of someone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness.

How to get help

  • If you or someone you know needs support, contact your local district council housing team. They are the only bodies that can make a referral to the Housing Related Support service.
