Free Mind Counselling

Offering individual counselling and couples counselling I have been working as a certified Counsellor since 2019. I have 35 years of experience in mental health, mental health forensic services and Social Services. I specialise in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them distress, anxiety, and stress. I value individual differences, honesty, integrity, finding your path, standing out from the crowd, connection, relationships. I strongly believe people can be empowered to find their answers. I know that I am not a fixer, and I don't have all the answers, although I might have a suggestion or two. I know that I am OK to sit with people in chaos. I have undertaken training and gained qualifications in Health and Social Care, Applied Social Sciences, CACHE Counselling level 2 and NIOQ Diploma in Counselling Level 3, TQUK Advanced Diploma in counselling & CBT Level 4, Level 5 Diploma in counselling. Advanced Apprenticeship in Care, Mental Health First Aid, Self-harm and Suicide management level 2. Children's mental health, Children's suicide and self-harm management level 2. I have also completed training in Trauma CBT for all ages and essential CBT, I have undergone training in the use of Rewind Therapy to treat those with PSTD. I have also undertaken extend training in grief and grief with the loss of a infant and baby.

I am very committed to my own ongoing personal and professional development, I attend lectures and workshops as well as online training opportunities.
