Lymphoma Action Young Adults Support Group

The Lymphoma Action Young People’s Support Group is a dedicated service for individuals aged 18–35 who are living with, or affected by, lymphoma. This group provides a safe and supportive environment where young adults can connect with peers facing similar challenges, share experiences, and access age-appropriate advice and guidance. Facilitated by experienced staff and trained volunteers, the group offers a combination of peer support, educational sessions, and social opportunities, helping participants navigate both the practical and emotional aspects of their diagnosis.

The group meets regularly online and in person, allowing members to choose the format that best suits their needs. Sessions cover topics such as managing treatment side effects, coping strategies, mental wellbeing, and navigating work or study during and after treatment. In addition to structured discussions, the group encourages informal networking, fostering friendships and a sense of community among young adults who may feel isolated by their condition.

Membership is free and open to anyone within the age range, and participants are welcome to attend as often as they wish. The Lymphoma Action Young People’s Support Group also provides signposting to additional resources, including counselling, financial guidance, and other tumour-specific support services. By combining expert-led information with peer support, this service empowers young adults with lymphoma to feel understood, supported, and connected throughout their cancer journey.
