All aboard! Exhibition train celebrating 200 years of rail with visit to Skegness
Date and Time
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
A free, interactive exhibition inside a train is heading to Skegness.
Co-curated with the National Railway Museum and packed with hands-on exhibits and amazing stories, ‘Inspiration’ reveals how railways transformed the world.
It includes a fascinating look at railway firsts, engineering challenges and a whistle-stop tour of interesting – and lesser-known – careers on the railway.
More than 80,000 have already visited Inspiration on its 60-stop, year-long tour of Britain and 9 in 10 would recommend it to a friend.
This is one of the last stops on its historic tour – so don’t miss out!
Inspiration is part of Railway 200, the national campaign celebrating two centuries of the modern railway. Thousands of events across the UK and the world have celebrated a British innovation that revolutionised travel, supercharged economies and enabled mass tourism, sports leagues and the standardisation of time.
