Witham u3a

U3A is the University of the Third Age. We are a self-help social and learning group for those no longer in full time employment.

Witham U3A meets in Reepham and Cherry Willingham village hall on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings start at 10:00am with refreshments followed by a speaker at every meeting. Speakers cover a wide range of subjects. Talks in 2023 have included "In between the Shanties" by a former Falmouth RNLI Coxswain and "You Cannot be Serious" by a retired Wimbledon umpire.

You can join for a full year for only £20, reducing as the year progresses.

We have a range of interest groups (Architecture, Craft......) and at the monthly meeting you can meet group leaders to review the programme before signing up for your favourites. If there is an activity that we don't cover you can start a new group.
