Lincolnshire Day Opportunities Spalding
Working with the skills, talents, likes and needs of each person, our established and friendly team aims to provide a range of meaningful and purposeful opportunities which help everyone maintain and develop new skills, try new things, and make a positive contribution to their town and community. Based from the Chappell Centre, with a large garden and outside space, people can come regularly to the centre or drop-in to get involved with gardening or other things. A wide range of people access the centre, which is a well-established in the local community, and well used by other community groups, like the Deaf Society, Police Cadets, Carers UK, Age UK and many more.
Opportunities include:
• Healthy eating & cookery
• Creative arts – music, sewing, woodwork, making things to sell or exhibit.
• Gardening & environment
• Personal development & wellbeing
• Fitness and health
• Intensive interaction & sensory support
• Work skills development –volunteering & supported volunteering
• Drop-in – come along and try new things.
And much, much more – we work with your interests and skills to help you plan a range of interesting and meaningful support that’s right for you.
