Deepings u3a

The Deepings u3a is part of the nationwide organisation, University of the Third Age, a self-help organisation of people no longer in full-time employment, providing education, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment. Anyone in their third age can join The Deepings u3a and this includes people who are working part time. All you need is interest and enthusiasm.

The Deepings u3a has over 30 groups which can offer you the opportunity to participate in activities including walking, history, gardening and science and to learn and share skills and knowledge and make new friends. Groups are led by members who are happy to share their expertise and enthusiasm. Our newsletter provides a monthly update of activities.
Or why not come along to one of the monthly general meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Deepings Methodist Church, 64 Church Street, PE6 8HD. Doors open 9.30am for refreshments and chat, then we start at 10.30am for about an hour usually with an invited speaker and presentation. Subjects are varied and wide ranging.
