PEEPS charity

We’re the only UK charity dedicated to supporting those affected by HIE (Hypoxic-Ischaemic Encephalopathy) – lack of oxygen to the brain at birth.  We offer free emotional, practical and financial support, for any family regardless of cause or outcome.  We provide free parent packs to neonatal units across the UK to offer families support and advice as and when they are ready.

In addition, we can provide:

• Parent packs for neonatal units and other specialist healthcare providers
• Website and Peeps App – information, signposting etc.
• 1-1 Peer support – our volunteers all have lived experience of HIE
• Monthly online coffee morning, bringing the community together 
• Monthly online free infant massage
• Little HIEroes – Private Facebook group for our families to connect with other families
• Dad's hub – Private Facebook group solely for Dad’s
• Closed Facebook group for bereaved families
• Support through key events through the year
• Information sessions – e.g. Advanced Care Plans,  SIBS session (support for those with siblings), understanding trauma
• Peeps Together events across the UK
