LCVS Social Prescribing

Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS) works with the NHS to offer Social Prescribing – helping strengthen communities, personal resilience & reduce health & wellbeing inequalities by linking people to their own communities as a support to their health & well-being. It is a means of reducing isolation, raising self-worth and equipping people for self-care.

Social prescribing is all about empowering people to take responsibility for their own health & wellbeing & improve their quality of life, while respecting the choices they make.
