Seafarers’ Advice & Information Line (SAIL)

The Seafarers’ Advice and Information Line (SAIL) is a Citizens Advice service available to all seafarers, including Royal Navy and Royal Marine serving personnel and veterans, the merchant navy, Royal Fleet Auxiliary and fishing fleet.

Covering the whole of the UK, SAIL provides free, impartial, independent and confidential advice on a range of topics, including:

• benefits
• housing
• debt
• employment
• consumer issues
• family and relationships

The service is available to anyone who has served a single day at sea, along with their partners, widows or widowers and dependants.
