St Barnabas Hospice
St Barnabas Hospice is a Lincolnshire charity providing free, compassionate palliative and end-of-life care to adults aged 18 + living with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, and support for their families and carers. Their focus is on helping people live as fully and comfortably as possible for however long they have left, with care tailored to individual needs and preferences.
Core Care Services
• Inpatient Units: Specialist 24/7 care in Lincoln and Grantham for symptom management, comfort, and round-the-clock clinical support.
• Hospice at Home: Skilled nursing and care delivered in your own home to help with symptom control and support daily living.
• Wellbeing Services: A range of supportive therapies designed to improve quality of life, including physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual support.
• Day Therapy & Wellbeing Centres: Group support, activities and therapies that help maintain wellbeing in community settings.
Practical & Holistic Support
• Welfare & Benefits Advice: Free specialist advice on welfare benefits, grants, blue badges, and financial entitlements for people living with life-limiting conditions who are registered with a Lincolnshire GP.
• Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy: Help with mobility, everyday tasks and managing physical symptoms.
• Psychological & Bereavement Support: Emotional support and counselling for patients, their families and carers both before and after a loss.
• Spiritual Support: Optional spiritual care tailored to individual beliefs and needs.
Eligible individuals must be registered with a Lincolnshire GP and have a life limiting illness or condition.
