Restorative Justice Lincolnshire

On behalf of the Police and Crime Commissioner restorative justice (RJ) is offered across Lincolnshire for all people who have been affected by crime. It is a voluntary process that involves planned and managed communication between those who have been harmed by crime, and those who have caused that harm. It is a service that is available without cost.
It enables those who have been harmed to explain, to the person who has caused it, the impact of the crime and to ask questions of them that might not have been answered during the criminal justice process.
It helps victims to deal with the questions, the emotions and the stress caused by that harm, this assists vicitms move on with their lives.
