VCS Social Prescribing Service - Lincoln

VCS link workers will work with each person to identify non-medical opportunities in the community that may be of benefit, e.g. social activities, interests/hobbies, peer support groups, dietary support, relaxation, exercise, voluntary opportunities, or other lifestyle changes that could improve health and wellbeing. You can drop in to one of the social prescribing sessions for more information if you live in any of the sub-healthcare districts. These are held:
  • Boultham Park - Moorland Park Methodist Church (46 Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln. LN6 7RB) on the second Tuesday of the month between 10:00am and 12.30pm. Parking is available.
  • Birchwood - Birchwood Break  Through Centre (Birchwood Library, Larchwood Crescent, Birchwood, Lincoln. LN6 0NA) on the second Wednesday of the month between 2:00pm and 4.30pm. Parking nearby is available.
  • Love Your Neighbour Café (The Salthouse, Free School Lane, Lincoln. LN2 1EY) on the second Thursday of the month between 10.30am and 1:00pm. Unfortunately there is no parking available at the location.
