Youth Cancer Trust

Youth Cancer Trust is a UK charity dedicated to supporting young people aged 14–30 who are living with or beyond cancer. The organisation focuses on improving wellbeing, building confidence, and reducing the isolation that many young people experience during and after treatment. A core part of their work is providing free therapeutic adventure holidays and residential breaks where young people can come together in a supportive, safe environment, connect with peers who understand life with cancer, and participate in activities that promote physical, emotional and social wellbeing.

These adventure breaks are designed to help young people rediscover enjoyment and opportunity outside the clinical setting, build resilience, develop lasting friendships, and regain a sense of independence. Youth Cancer Trust places strong emphasis on peer support, shared experience, and positive engagement, helping participants to cope with both the short‑term challenges of treatment and the long‑term effects of cancer on life, education and relationships.

In addition to holidays and activity breaks, Youth Cancer Trust provides information, signposting to relevant services, and opportunities for young people to influence the shape of services and activities that matter to them.
