Latin American Women’s Aid (LAWA)

Latin American Women's Aid (LAWA) supports women from Latin America or other Minoritised backgrounds and their children who are fleeing from domestic violence. LAWA runs the only specialised refuge accommodation by and for the Latin American community in the UK in their native languages. Though based in London LAWA also provides free, confidential, comprehensive advice and advocacy services to women in other parts of England and provides advice on personal safety planning, legal remedies, welfare benefits advice, housing and emergency accommodation, child support, skills development, and community integration. Monday to Friday from 09:30-13:00 and 14-17:30.
