Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance - CCPA
Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance (CCPA) is a UK-based charity supporting families affected by childhood cancer. It provides practical, emotional, and social support to children, teenagers, and young adults diagnosed with cancer, as well as their parents, siblings, and wider family members. Support is offered throughout the cancer journey: from diagnosis, through treatment, and into survivorship, and is flexible to meet the needs of each family.
CCPA offers emotional and social support, including one-to-one guidance, peer group sessions, and wellbeing activities such as mindfulness and creative workshops. The charity organises family-focused events, including days out, seasonal parties, and care packages, creating opportunities for fun, respite, and connection. Families can also access practical and financial assistance, including support through the Max & Flo Kindness Fund, which helps with treatment-related costs and essential needs. Services are open to all UK families affected by childhood cancer, and no healthcare referral is required.
Through its combination of emotional, social, practical, and financial support, CCPA aims to reduce isolation, foster resilience, and provide meaningful support for families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.
