Having taught guitar, and played professionally for over 20 years, I’ve learned out of necessity, how to make my guitars sound, and play as good as possible, and aspire to that for my customers, enhancing every musician’s experience. A set-up is the most popular repair requested. It involves configuring an instrument to its optimum configuration, for best playability and comfort, and a good clean and string change gives it that “new car” feel. Every player is unique, with different preferences and styles, so each guitar set-up process begins with a short consultation, and can have a ‘try and adjust’ feel to it, if required?

I treat all instruments like they were my own whilst in my care, and all are covered with £2m of Public Liability Insurance Cover (PLI) for your peace of mind (Please contact me if you wish to view my insurance policy). Regardless of instrument type, be it Acoustic, Electric, or Bass guitar, most minor issues can resolved with a set-up, from as little as £50 (excluding the cost of strings), and my target turn-around time is just 48 hours!
