Blind Veterans UK
Founded in 1915, Blind Veterans UK has supported tens of thousands of armed forces and National Service veterans in rebuilding their lives after sight loss, regardless of the cause.
Blind Veterans UK has a network of local support teams across the UK, providing blind veterans with rehabilitation and training close to where they live—whether in their own homes, local areas, or remotely.
The organisation also operates two dedicated centres that support the well-being of blind veterans in all aspects of their lives, including holidays and respite breaks. In addition to providing free specialist equipment, Blind Veterans UK helps veterans discover new hobbies, such as art and other creative activities.
