Sexual health
Sexual health services in Lincolnshire are provided by LiSH. Services are confidential, non-judgmental and open access – that means available to anyone irrespective of age, gender, residence or GP registration.
LiSH provide:
- Confidential, non-judgmental advice and support on sexual health and contraception
- Testing and treatment for STIs (sexually transmitted infections)
- Testing and treatment for HIV
- Preventative services, including condoms, vaccinations and HIV PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and HIV PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis)
- The full range of contraception, including emergency contraception, long-acting methods, condoms, and support to reduce the risk of unplanned pregnancy.
- Cervical screening
- Counselling and referral for antenatal care, abortion services, and sterilisation services
- Psychosexual counselling
- Assessment and referral of sexual assault cases
- Youth and LGBT-friendly services.

Contraception can also be accessed via your GP. Some participating pharmacies provide the contraceptive pill without prescription. - Find a pharmacy that offers the contraceptive pill without a prescription - NHS (www.nhs.uk).
Positive Health provide support to people living with HIV and affected by HIV in Lincolnshire, including practical and emotional advice and support, advocacy, support groups and peer support, and help with social care issues such as housing and benefit applications.
