Lincolnshire Centre for Grief & Loss
We primarily offer a grief and loss counselling service to adults and children, either in person at our Centre in Lincoln or for those who prefer or are unable to travel to our Centre, we offer telephone and online counselling. We also work in Care and Nursing Homes. All our work is subsidised and sometimes it is fully funded including for adults in receipt of a Means Tested Benefit.
Counselling can offer you the opportunity to have a safe place to talk about your thoughts and feelings. It is confidential and the counsellor will not make judgements about you or even offer advice.
We offer a counselling service to people who are unable to cope following an experience of grief and loss such as bereavement. We also offer counselling for people who have a life limiting illness or a disability, and we also help the family members/carers of that person.
Our support groups offer an opportunity to meet and chat with others who have experienced grief and loss in their lives. We offer a safe space to share thoughts, feelings and experiences of grief and loss and to talk about things that help.
Specific groups include:
Child Loss Support Group
Grief and Loss Support Group
Funded Cancer Counselling
