Food Help
If you don’t qualify for free vouchers, community shops are a cheaper option than supermarkets. Some social eating programs also offer hot meals at lower prices.
Food Banks
To use a food bank, you’ll need a referral. You can get one from Citizens Advice, children’s centres, or health visitors. You can also contact your local food bank, and they’ll explain how to get a referral.
When you visit or talk to a referral agency, they’ll ask for some basic details to understand your situation and offer practical advice.
Once you have your voucher, you can use it to collect your food parcel.
Below, you’ll find links to food banks and other affordable food resources.
