Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF)

The Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF) is a UK government programme that provides financial help to residents facing hardship and supports people to become more financially resilient. This can help reduce the risk of future financial crises. It was introduced in April 2026 to replace the Household Support Fund.

In March 2026, the UK Government announced targeted support for households that rely on heating oil and are facing financial hardship due to rising prices. The scheme is designed to help households at risk of losing immediate access to heating or hot water.

Funding is being provided to areas with high numbers of off‑grid properties as a top‑up to the existing Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF). On behalf of Lincolnshire County Council, the scheme will be administered locally by the Lincolnshire Community Foundation, where eligible households will receive a £300 prepaid off‑grid energy voucher.
