Long Covid Peer Support Groups

Shine Lincolnshire have been working with LVET, Active Lincolnshire, Every-One, and Connect to Support Lincolnshire on a Long COVID Project funded by NHS Charities Together. Part of the project was to provide opportunities for Peer Support within local communities to support people living with the ongoing challenges of long/post COVID. An element of this project was the formulation of an offer of face-to-face support groups. Shine Lincolnshire has worked with organisations across the County to create nine support groups. All of the groups will be locally owned, developed and managed by their hosting organisation in order to offer a local offer and sustainability.
