At our Boston Lithuanian Community Group, we have successfully established friendships and links with Ukrainians, fostering a strong sense of community.

You are so welcome to join us. Come and visit us at our new premises: Fountain Place, PE21 6BF.

We offer the following services:

Free consultations for Ukrainians:

  • Tuesdays 10am – 1pm
  • Thursdays 10am – 1pm (phone calls, help filling out documents, interpretations at surgeries, banks, citizen advice and job centre)

Free ESOL courses (please message us):

  • Tuesdays 9.30am – 11am (beginners’ group)
  • Fridays 11am – 12.30pm (pre-intermediate – intermediate group)

Cultural and Traditional Events:

  • Christmas, Pancake Days, Easter Together, Mother’s Day, Midsummer celebration, trips etc. Events are organised with the help of volunteers.

Vyshyvanka Hub, Gainsborough is a self-help support group for Ukrainians, Homes for Ukraine hosts, potential hosts and other supporters. We are based in Gainsborough and help people living in the local villages and West Lindsey District Council area.

Vyshyvanka Hub Gainsborough members meet regularly to chat, have coffee and welcome new Ukrainian friends.

At Jubilee Church, all Ukrainians are welcome! You can join us on:

  • Mondays: Our Café is open 9.15am – 12.45pm. We serve amazing filter coffee and good tea, homemade cakes and other refreshments. Come and make new friends, chat and socialise if you wish. We also have some craft activities for knitters, crochet, board games and art.
  • Tuesdays: our Café is open 9.30am – 2.00pm. We have specific support for Ukrainians. We are usually joined by Citizens Advice, a housing representative from South Kesteven District Council and the NHS neighbourhood team. If you would like to improve your English, you can join our free English conversational classes. Booking is required. 9.30am – 10.30am is our Improvers class and 10.30am – 11.30am is our Beginners class.
  • Wednesdays and Thursdays: Parent and Toddlers Group: 9.15am – 11.45am. We have some great toys and activities available for you & your little one(s), including a soft play and a ball pit area. We are a busy but very friendly group and love welcoming new people.
  • Fridays: Our Café is open 9.15am – 12.45pm. We serve amazing filter coffee and good tea, homemade cakes and other refreshments. Come and make new friends, chat and socialise if you wish. We also have some craft activities for knitters, crochet, board games and art. Every fortnight during term time, we support any Ukrainian secondary school students who need extra help with English, Maths and Science.
  • Saturdays: Our Ukrainian Hub Café is a place to support our Ukrainian friends to come together with each other and to meet our local community. We also run salsa and dance lessons! All are welcome! We meet between 10.00am and 2.00pm.

Boxes Of Hope in Holbeach started out by sending essential items to support refugees within Ukraine, but they now support Ukrainian refugees in Lincolnshire too. They provide various services including a shop, help with furniture for Ukrainians moving into independent accommodation and a weekly Good Mood Café.

LEAN (Lincoln Embracing All Nations) is a voluntary organisation that can offer immigration advice, support and guidance to Ukrainians in Lincolnshire. LEAN are based in Lincoln and have Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) qualified advisers.

The Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Lincoln support Ukrainians living in and around Lincolnshire.

Our purpose is to develop, promote and support the interests and welfare of the Ukrainian community ensuring that Ukrainian traditions and culture are preserved.

We recognise that there are many refugees who have fled the war in Ukraine and we would like to offer you our support in terms of friendship and signpost you to any services and support that are available to you.

We may have already welcomed you to the Ukrainian Independence Day Event at the International Bomber Command Centre in Lincoln which we hosted in August 2024.

Throughout the year we meet regularly on the first Sunday in the month at St Mary le Wigford Church on St Mary’s Street in Lincoln 12pm-2pm. Here we run a variety of workshops and activities to support Ukrainian adults and children as well as providing a place to meet people and chat.

We offer other additional activities and events at different times as well. New people are always welcome to come along and meet us, so please drop in on the first Sunday of the month to say hello.

Louth Area of Sanctuary exists to welcome and support people fleeing conflict. We have a team of volunteers who befriend and support people arriving in Louth and surrounding areas. Since 2022 we have worked with Ukrainian people arriving under the Homes for Ukraine scheme. The project is administered by a voluntary committee.

The Community Lab is a newly established not-for-profit company aimed at nurturing and showcasing Ukrainian skills and talents in Lincolnshire. Currently, we operate a community group in Sleaford and are in the process of developing projects and initiatives focused on enhancing financial wellbeing.

Come and join us every weekend for tea, coffee, and friendship.

The Stamford Diversity Group run the following:

  • Mondays: Teen Games 5pm - 6.30pm at Stamford Arts Centre (27 St Mary's Street, Stamford PE9 2DL)
  • Thursdays: Yoga 1pm - 2pm (no classes on 3rd Thursday of every month)
  • Fridays: International Families Meet Up 1pm - 2pm (all welcome including families with children 0-5 years)
  • Fridays: Choir 7.30pm - 9pm
  • Saturdays: Drama sessions for Ukrainian children and teenagers 1 - 3pm in term time

All activities (expect for teen games) are held in the Conservatory at Stamford Children’s Centre, Green Lane, Stamford PE9 1HE.

We also do pop up workshops (cookery, art, poetry etc.) so anyone who wants to find out more about any of this can email us to find out more!
